My fee starts at $200.  This is for Simple, Gentle (TCM) or RAW food preparation.  I can do a 50/50-ish mix of Simple and Gentle methods for an additional $10. See Methods of Preparation for description of the different methods.  This also includes a keepsake of the umbilical cord if you wish.

US Military families and First Responders (either you or our spouse) - as a small way to say "thank you" for your service and commitment to our country and community, I do offer a discount of $20 off your encapsulation! Proof of military service or first responder service will need to be provided.

Travel Fees - I have a base travel fee of $15 for anywhere beyond a 30 mile radius from Lee’s Summit, plus an additional $0.50 a mile - please message me travel quote if needed.  Most all metro hospitals are covered in the 30 mile radius. (St. Luke's East, Plaza and South; Truman Downtown and Lakewood; St. Joseph Hospital, Shawnee Mission Medical Center; Liberty; Olathe Medical Center; Overland Park Regional; Centerpoint; North Kansas City Hospital)

Some clients prefer that I complete the placenta in their home environment.  I charge an additional $50 fee for this.

What forms of payment do you take?

My preferred method of payment is cash or check. I can do “personal” paypal at [email protected]  I also accept credit cards for a $5 processing fee.  Some families choose to pay before the birth of baby, so it’s one less thing they have to worry about once baby arrives. Payment in full is expected at the time of me returning the capsules to you, unless other arrangements have been made.  Any monies paid prior to baby’s birth will be fully refundable should you not be able to keep your placenta for medical reasons. Clients who have not completed a registration form prior to birth will be expected to pay in full at the time of me picking up the placenta.

Placenta broth - $5 can be used for smoothies or drank as is.  The broth is the juices that are left after the placenta has been steamed - for TCM users only.  This broth can provide a power punch of nutrition and energy for the postpartum mom.  I will give you a mason jar with the leftover juices and you can freeze that in ice cube tray or add to other broth.

Placenta Salve $25 - a blend of placenta infused almond oil, Shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin E, and lavender essential oil. Many cosmetic industries use (sheep) placenta in their formulas.  This salve is made just for you! Salve can be used for (healed over) c-section scars, diaper rash, chapped skin or nipples, burns and more!  It takes about a teaspoon (or 5 capsules) of placenta powder to make a salve.  Past clients with left-over capsules can have this made for them too!

Placenta tincture $20 - made from a piece of the mother’s own raw placenta after birth, steeping in alcohol making a strong remedy over 6 weeks.  It is said that placenta tincture is used for emotional, mental and psychological instability and may also be very beneficial for treating PMS and menopause. More information can be found here:

You'll be provided with 8 oz bottle of placenta tincture starter as well as a 2oz bottle and dropper for easy dosage.

Placenta prints $20 with encapsulation.  I will provide you with 2-3 prints on watercolor paper for a unique keepsake. Examples of prints I've done can be found on my Facebook Page.

Twins/multiples - I charge full price for baby #1 and then $50 for the second baby/other babies. Please have your care provider label which placenta belongs to which baby.

Tree of Life Pendant $20 - A stunning silver pendant with tree of life on one side and your placenta powder encased in poly-resin on the opposite side.  This can be used as a key chain or worn as a necklace ($5 for silver chain).

Placenta Encapsulation DIY Kit $75 ($75 rental fee plus additional $50 refundable deposit)

Want to be empowered by encapsulating your placenta yourself or want to save a few bucks?  This kit will include a tote with all you will need to encapsulate your placenta.  Kit includes a dehydrator, capsule filling machine, capsules, grinder, cutting board, knife, gloves, steaming pot and laminated instructions.  I will also be available for telephone/text support during the process.  I will deliver the tote to your home after baby's birth and then pick up the tote up to three weeks later.  $125 for this service will be due upon receiving the kit and the deposit of $50 will be returned once I receive the kit back clean and in working order.  All equipment will be properly sanitized between clients by myself, I just ask you wash with hot soapy water, dry and then load it back up into the tote for me to pick up.  Same travel fee applies if you live outside a 30 mile radius form Lees Summit.

Smoothie Cubes - If you are not wanting to encapsulate your placenta, but wish to consume it raw, but want to hire someone to clean and prepare the placenta into small pieces for consumption, I can do this for $75.  Placenta will be cleaned, and prepared into dime-nickel size pieces and then frozen.  You will receive a ziplock baggie with these frozen pieces that can be added to smoothies or swallowed like a pill.
